Composite Information

This composite is based on the 2015 version of the Cavaille-Coll organ at Notre Dame de Paris in Paris, France. It uses sample sets that resemble the organ in acoustics and sound, and the stoplist of the organ (2015) is nearly exactly replicated. This composite does not try to recreate the exact acoustics, but rather to give a powerful resemblance through the sample sets used. The reverb time is ca. 7 seconds. There are 5 manuals + pedal and a sixth floating division which may be coupled to any of the manuals. The keyboard compass has been extended to 61/32.

The composite has 5 screens – One with the organ console and background image (floating division stops), a stops page, a keyboards page, a wind page and an enclosures page.

Requirements

Requirements: Caen (SP), Santanyi (SP), Notre Dame de Metz (MDA), St Pons Demo (SP), St. Omer Demo (SP) , Rotterdam Demo (SP)

The organ in 16 bit, all release samples and sample loops is approximately 20 GB. The composite requires at least 6000 Polyphony for the full tutti.
